Fitness Blender

Last night I was at a step aerobics class (No, not like the 80's. It's cool now!) when the other ladies in the class started talking about Fitness Blender.  One lady mentioned how she did a HIIT workout and another gushed over trying a Barre workout for the first time.  Confused, I asked for some more information.

Fitness Blender is an online resource full of FREE full-length workout videos created by a husband and wife.

We started Fitness Blender because we believe that fitness should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their income. We also felt like there was a lack of reliable health and fitness information on the web, and too many people in the industry were more focused on appearance than they were on good health.

Isn't that awesome?
I took some time to watch a few of these videos and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed.  Free or not, they were good videos.
One of my favorite features was you can search for workout videos by....
  • Level of difficulty
  • Body focus (upper, lower, etc)
  • Amount of time
  • Training type (HIIT, yoga, Barre, strength training, etc)
  • Calories burned
  • Equipment

They also have plenty of videos on topics such as supplements, caloric intake, and recipes.

They have over 260 workout videos and are posting new ones every week!  Now you really don't have an excuse to skip that workout.  Short on time?  They have ten minute videos.  Kids sick and can't take them to the gym so you can lift?  They have body weight strength training videos.  Snow storm keeping you from yoga?  Got of video for you.  Want to try a kettlebell class but too nervous to do it in front of others?  They have videos for that too.
Seriously, spend 10 minutes and do this ab video...now!!!

Beginner, intermediate, advanced...Fitness Blender has something for everyone!

Your turn: Am I just late to the party?  Have you already heard about Fitness Blender?  What other videos do you enjoy? If you get a chance to try one I'd love to hear what you think!
